The Philippine Basketball Association or PBA kicks off its season 47 this June 5, 2022 at Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
It started with Leo Awards honoring the previous season’s individual awards winners then the opening ceremony.
On the opening day, it features 2 games. First game is between the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and the newcomers Converge FiberXers.
Next game is between Magnolia Hotshots and TNT Tropang Giga. It is a rematch of last season’s finals.
