Every Filipino knows the novel “Noli Me Tangere”. This novel with history so rich will now be tapped with a modern twist.
The newest show of GMA “Maria Clara at Ibarra” is about a Gen Z working student who got transported back to the past, specifically in the world of Jose Rizal’s “Noli Me Tangere”
The show is starred by Barbie Forteza, Julie Anne San Jose and Dennis Trillo. Joining them are Tirso Cruz III, Juancho Trivino, Andrea Torres, Gilleth Sandico, Rocco Nacino, Manilyn Reynes, Juan Rodrigo, David Licauco, Ces Quesada, Dennis Padilla and Lou Veloso.
“Maria Clara at Ibarra” is directed by Zig Dulay. This upcoming series will have their premiere on October 3, 2022.
