“Autism Awareness for Rocket.” This is the first statement of Aubrey Miles when she posted a photo of her with her fiancé, Troy Montero and her daughter, Rocket.
The family did not share about it right away as they wanted to educate themselves first. They researched about Autism Spectrum Disorder and looked for specialist for them to learn everything about it.
As mentioned by Aubrey, ASD is different from one to another. She pointed out symptoms of her daughter like delayed speech, no eye contact, difficulty communicating, repetitive and can focus on one thing for hours.
She shared what they were scared as parents but with the help of learning, finding the right therapist, having the support groups and most of all, love.
